Kedarnath Camping – Rules & Regulations
1. Check-in & Check-out
Check-in time is from 12:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM. Early check-in depends on availability.
2. Valid ID Proof
All guests must carry and present a valid government-issued ID at the time of arrival.
3. Weather Conditions
Kedarnath is a high-altitude region; weather can change rapidly. Guests are advised to cooperate in case of delays or changes due to weather.
4. Health & Fitness
Camping at high altitude may not be suitable for people with serious health issues. Guests should ensure they are physically fit for the stay.
5. Food Policy
Only vegetarian meals are served and allowed, respecting the religious significance of the area.
6. Smoking & Alcohol
Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in and around the campsite.
7. Bonfire Policy
Bonfires are subject to weather conditions and local authority permissions.
8. Silence & Discipline
Guests are requested to maintain silence, especially during night hours, to preserve the peaceful environment.
9. Littering & Environment
Do not litter. Help us keep the Himalayas clean by using designated waste bins.
10. Damage to Property
Any damage to tents, bedding, or camp property will be chargeable.
11. Power & Facilities
Electricity and charging facilities may be limited. Guests are advised to use power responsibly.
12. Safety & Responsibility
The camp management is not responsible for loss of valuables. Please take care of your belongings.
13. Pets Policy
Pets are not allowed in the campsite.
14. Emergency Situations
In case of any emergency, guests must follow instructions given by the camp staff or local authorities.
